The Morning Star: Broadcasting Indigenous News Across the Globe:
At MONAH, we always ask ourselves “How can we help?” when supporting indigenous communities. As a part of our enhanced virtual museum experience, we will be sharing news stories with you from across Native America. The Morning Star name is derived from Black Elk, a famous holy man, traditional healer, and visionary of the Oglala Lakota (Sioux) of the northern Great Plains believed that the morning star to the east provides wisdom and understanding. Learn more about Black Elk and the morning star here.
