Virtual Workshop in a Box » Animal-Inspired Beading with Wanis Running Buffalo

In conjunction with the Companion Species Exhibition join us for an afternoon of beaded embroidery led by Arapaho artist Wanis Running Buffalo. Guests will learn basic embroidered beading techniques and each guest will create their own beaded fox patch. 

Registered guests will pick up their supply boxes beginning January 11, or boxes can be delivered if ordered no later than January 29. 

Registration + Box pickup: $25 ($20 for members). Pickup available beginning January 11.

Registration + Shipping: $35 ($28 for members). Deadline to order for shipping is January 29.

While the box contains most materials for the workshop, please note a few items and details you will need to have on hand.

 Art Box Contains:

  • Nylon Thread

  • Charlotte Cut Beads (orange, black and white)

  • Beading Needles

  • Fabric

What you’ll need:

  • Scissors

  • Elmer's Glue
