📖 Storytelling Event at MONAH: Keepunumuk – Weeachumun's Thanksgiving Story 🌽🌱

Join us for a special storytelling event at MONAH as we explore the tale of Keepunumuk – Weeachumun's Thanksgiving Story! This beautiful book shares the story of the Three Sisters—corn, beans, and squash—and the Native traditions surrounding the first harvests and Thanksgiving.

🎨 After the story, children and families will get creative with a hands-on craft, making their own Three Sisters Garden Collage to take home! 🌽🌱

This event is FREE and fun for the whole family! It’s the perfect way to learn about the rich history of Indigenous agricultural traditions while celebrating creativity and togetherness.

🗓️ Date: Saturday, November 30th, 2024
🕒 Time: 10 am
📍 Location: Museum of Native American History (MONAH)

Please note: This book is a truthful perspective of the events and contains some references to starvation and death. If you need to read the book beforehand, visit us, and we will be happy to show you.

Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to engage with history and culture through storytelling and art!
